Festool Parallel Side Fence PA-HLC 82/EHL 65
The Parallel Side Fence attaches directly to the HLC 82 cordless planer to provide accurate, edge-referenced guidance when planing rabbets and working close to an edge. By maintaining a consistent distance from the workpiece edge, it helps keep the planer tracking straight and parallel throughout the cut. This controlled guidance prevents lateral drift, resulting in cleaner, more uniform rabbets and improved accuracy compared to freehand planing. Quick to install and easy to adjust, the Parallel Side Fence adds precision and repeatability to edge-guided planing tasks.
- Infinitely adjustable width: Allows precise rabbet widths for accurate, repeatable edge work
- Integrated protective cover: Cutterhead cover helps to prevent accidental contact during operation
- Fast, tool-free setup: Attaches quickly using a rotary knob—no tools required
- Flexible edge guidance: Side fence adjusts from 0" - 3-1/4" (0–82 mm) for a wide range of edge-referenced planing tasks
- For edge-referenced guidance, adjustable from 0" to 3-1/4" (0–82 mm)
Main applications:
- Trimming and fitting work
- Assembly and installation tasks
- Planing cabinets, trim, baseboards, infill panels, doors, and similar components
