HMLA-267 Doc Mazzuchelli Memorial Patch

HMLA-267 Doc Mazzuchelli Memorial Patch

Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267 (HMLA-267) "Stingers" — Doc Mazzuchelli Memorial

This memorial patch pays tribute to "Doc" Mazzuchelli, a beloved member of HMLA-267 who gave his life in service with the Stingers. In the tight-knit world of Marine light attack helicopter aviation, Navy corpsmen — affectionately known as "Doc" — serve alongside Marines as their medics and are considered integral members of the squadron family. Memorial patches are a sacred tradition in Marine aviation, worn with reverence to ensure that fallen comrades are never forgotten.

HMLA-267 operates the AH-1Z Viper and UH-1Y Venom from Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, under Marine Aircraft Group 39 and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing. The squadron's mission of providing offensive air support, utility support, armed escort, and close air support places its Marines and sailors in the most demanding and dangerous combat environments. From desert battlefields to mountain passes, the Stingers' aircrews fly into harm's way knowing that their support can mean the difference between life and death for Marines on the ground.

The Doc Mazzuchelli Memorial Patch represents the unbreakable bond between Marines and their corpsmen, and the squadron's commitment to remembering every member who paid the ultimate price in defense of their country and their fellow Marines.

Perfect For: HMLA-267 Stingers veterans, Marine light attack helicopter personnel, Navy corpsmen who served with Marine units, memorial patch collectors, and those honoring fallen service members.

A solemn tribute to Doc Mazzuchelli and all corpsmen who serve alongside Marines in combat — their courage and sacrifice forever woven into the Stingers' legacy.
